My husband and I live near Wells in Somerset. I am a retired teacher and my husband is a retired audit manager. We fell in love with Corfu whist visiting for family holidays with our young children. Our children are all now adults and still love to spend their holidays in Corfu. It has a magic that draws you back. We searched for many months for a piece of land on which to build our dream property and could not believe our luck when we found this piece of land so aptly called 'Where butterflies rest'. We named our villa 'petalutha' which is greek for butterfly. We have created a villa that is comfortable and well laid out and spent a long time considering equipment and facilities to provide for our guests. Comments from our guest books show that our guests have all appreciated the quality of our provision as well as its beautiful location. The view from the villa still takes my breath away, even though I have seen it hundreds of times. It has a mesmerising quality and with the ever-changing light, is an artist's dream.
